Air-sourced heat pumps are an efficient type of water heater that extracts heat from the environment (air, water or ground) to heat water. Heat Pump systems run on electricity but are approx three times more efficient than conventional electric water units. For every 1kw you use in power the units provide approx 4kw worth of heated water.
